Springtime at the Ranch
Spring is like a re-awakening, and this year we are all feeling the need for it more than ever. While we’ve all been making sure we take care of our selves, our friends, and family, some of our ranch staff has been working hard outside to keep the ranch looking good and the animals healthy. This time of year is already a time we have to catch up and take a breath between the busy Sleigh Ride Dinner season and get ready for the bustling Summertime outdoor adventures. This year is no different. We are being cautious but optimistic about this summer. Our Activities Partners are working on getting procedures in place to keep our guests safe and make sure there is still plenty of fun to be had! We will be providing regular updates on opening dates for each activity as they become available
Earlier in April, we had a new addition to the ranch family a new calf was born and Mama and baby are doing well. They are enjoying the fresh green grass that the warm weather and sunshine have brought. We are still thinking on a name, even though “Covid” and “Corona” were the top suggestions we haven’t made an official decision, yet!
We should be welcoming two new baby Percheron Colts by the end of May. Ruth and Beff are due to deliver with in the next month adding two more members to the Ranch family. We are excited for their arrival and can’t wait to share the news with everyone when it happens.
The greenhouse is starting bloom helping to feel even more like a new season! Pictures to come on the progress there.
