The sleigh ride was a little underwhelming and short, however part of the blame goes to the fact that there was neither moon or clear sky full of stars to enhance the experience. For the price we probably wouldn't do the sleigh ride again, but might be interested in their activities at other times of the year.

We arrived late at night and were told a welcome packet would be attached to our site with a property map and information about the showers. Pulling in, the property was not very well lit and we had trouble finding the RV site. We drove through a field that had big ruts and finally found our RV site by having my son go out with a flashlight and looking at every site number. Since it was dark, we could not find anything else on the property so just plugged in and went to bed. The sites are very primitive - just an electrical hookup and that's it. Seems they could improve the field where the RV sites are. The next day we were able to find the office and learned that our welcome packet had been left on a bulletin board on the office instead of our site. We did ziplining (separate review - really great fun) and I stopped by the wine tasting where the proprietor was very nice and poured some great wine - grapes from California and winemaking on site at the Ranch. Would definitely stop by and I think you will like the wines as a guy who drinks a fair amount of California wine. Btw his brother has a winery in the Bay Area so wine-making is in the family.
I'm a novice RV'er, so perhaps I should have noted that the Ranch offers "RV Parking", which was a bit different from the KOA that we stayed at in Moab. If you are in the area, and are just looking for an electrical hookup with nearby showers, friendly people and some fun local attractions, then I would give the place a try. If you are looking for a "campground" with tables, barbecues, water hookups, nice level sites, etc., this is not the place. I gave 4 stars for the broader experience - 3 stars for the RV site and 5 for the wine tasting and ziplining. More
